Yep. I finally got my blues and splash. They were so annoying. The rooster wouldn’t roost with the hens and the hens wouldn’t lay. I never witnessed him breeding, not once. I told them they would be on the next chicken truck out of here and I wasn’t playing.
I never gave an update on the rest of the honey harvest. The very next weekend I pulled 2 deep supers. In total from both weekends was a little over 15 gallons of honey!
Oh he knows I have them. He’s a stickler for them being at least 5 months and he doesn’t live very far away. My big boys just surprised him last year. I can dream. I’m ready to get down to my winter time numbers.
