    I have an egg which piped and hours later it started zipping. Its made a decent hole and zipped less than quarter of egg. Hes made no progress in 10 hours. Should i help him progress the zip a small amount to assist? Any suggestions. Ive read the assisted hatch article.

    Have my first 30 CX!!! They are 6 days old and almost everyone have already started developing the bald spots on bellies and back sides. Other than that growing fast and healthy. I started off with 31 down to 26. First few days had some weaklings i guess. Any thoughts on the bald spots

    My one femal CL is gasping for air with every heart beat.... Dosent want to walk and its abdomen feels tighter possibly bloated more than the other 32 chicks i have right now. Laying down and refuses to walk. 4 days old.... What to do. None of the other chickens are havkng any problems. So...

    I believe it is the porous shell. Weird thing is they have calcium bumps too... So not lack of calcium i wouldnt think...?

    Would you suggest not breeding female on right due to poor markings? And same on male in middle? Im new and it was easy to spot female on right but other two were ...????.... I want strong marking in this blood line (being color blind it helps!!!!)
