    I use a paint pan with the grate thing in it turned the wrong way so its level. Then the pan catches the water. Learned this with ducklings and it works for chicks too. If I can figure out how to post a picture I will.

    How much and how do you use iodine for yourself? Like in water or?? I am wanting to try this for myself as well as my chickens and possibly ducks but I haven't really heard anything about the ducks on iodine anywhere..     How to help chickens with heat

    I use the big ice cream tubs and freeze water in them and set them in the coop at night when the ladies are panting and also put them in the run during the day .. someone on here suggested it and it has helped a lot

    Thank you all for the kind words. Idk who this has been harder on ..me or Max😭 but he is doing good and the vet verified Friday after testing the slides she took that it was not viral or bacterial so I didn't do anything wrong and other ducks should be fine so Max has 2 new friends coming today...

    Now I am just so over worried about Max that I have to ask.. from day one I have been able to hear him breath.. kinda like a stuffy nose but his nostrils ,I guess they are called ,are clear .. now I was never able to hear Ruby breath until Saturday and she had issues obviously but do some ducks...
