Continue to candle the eggs and keep an eye out for any movement. After a week chances are high that they are a bust. There isn't anything you can do for them these things just happen sometimes.

i also just found this article. i know you arent incubating but it still has some helpful info.
according to my research the incubation period is 35 days average, certain factors can throw this off and the babies still could hatch especially if there is movement. When we raised quail i still had chicks hatching four to five days after that period. I set my incubation limit to a week/ week...
Im not an expert with cause of death but did you check her for a broken or stuck egg?? Maybe that could have caused the bloating. I know one of my quail due to a broken egg and she was bloated.
no but it got pretty bad. I was forced to separate her or she would have died. we got rid of the flock but i kept her because she was rejected. she is fully rehabilitated now and my "pet"
i would try and find a roll/wrap of some sort made of cotton and wrap it around after applying medication. I dont think that there is any waterproof but you can check. basically any brand would work
its most likely to just be an nasty bruise.i would try to bandage it if possible to prevent further incidents, but i would try not to separate because it may cause problems.
Sounds like this is going to be a tough one ! I suggest possibly looking online for solutions and I don’t know if goo gone is animal safe but that can get sticky things off. Also keep soaking her and grab some pet soap to help wash her off. As for the beak it will take time to heal and try to...
If it’s a male there will be a completely speckled chest and females will have a plain chest. You can also press on lower area and if foam comes out it’s a male but it depends how old the quail are. They have to reach sexual maturity to do the press test though
i would let it heal. just keep it clean and apply ointment daily to help with healing. its no big deal and nothing to worry about. she can live with a cut comb and will be fine. just make sure it is completely healed before returning to the others
