    4 egg day! Top egg is from Tilly. Her 1st egg today! Tilly, Rhode island white @ olive eggs, 6 from a Marans, 6 from easter egger :)

    They are like tattoos! Once you get one..... LOL My girls are a new batch, The I have 5 more thet are getting close :) 31 weeks, 29 weeks, and 28 weeks.

    Here's where we are at now :) Racer, in flower pot squatted for me Oct. 31 and then layed her 1st egg Nov. 3. Only gave me 8 eggs and quit :( Liza squatted for me Nov 8th and gave me her 1st egg Nov 14th. Shes now given me eggs daily only missing 4 times to date. Raven, who we were thinking...

    But why do they do that? Augh!!! I have the 1st one that started laying under the roost, then my second girl went right to the nesting box :) 1 out of I guess isn't bad I guess...

    I wasn't going to do this but went ahead and put a low watt bulb in the coop for the light, not for heat. I'm frustrated that my first girl that started laying but quit after 12 eggs and now hasn't laid for 11 days I have had chickens for a while (2009) and never had any of them do that. On the...

    OMW so our Racer who started laying 1st gave me eggs for 8 days then Liza started laying and the 1st one quit :( Haven't had an egg from Racer now for 8 days...
