    I was hoping to get more info too. I have a roo with the same problem. He's been limping for a month. Swollen ankle. I put him in a separate pen with a few other chickens and nothing has happened.. I wish I knew how long it was going to take for him to heal.

    LOL i'll need a bottle of wine after every hatch! we have ducklings hatching soon but i'm not sure how good it's going to be consider we screwed up and put the duck eggs and chicken eggs in the bator on the same day & the past three days while chicks were hatching , we didn't turn the duck eggs...

    My first chick hatched at 6pm yesterday and the last chick just hatched this morning at 11. Should I just leave all of them in there until tmrw morning or should I take the one that hatched yesterday out tonight?

    Great thanks, 4 more of hatched and I'm going to leave them at least 12 hours, they are frizzles so it takes them a little less time to dry

    two have hatched! I guess the temp dropped for a little while and delayed their hatch. ones a silkie and the other is a turken cross. they are so cute! hoping for some more soon.

    Sorry I didn't realize this was in the geese section. I was just In a hurry to get advice. I have heard peeping and saw rocking but no hatch yet. I have been reading all day and everything online about perfect humidity and all these tedious things are just making me more nervous.

    Ok thanks - I think at one point my husband did have to adjust the temp a little bit. Should I be worried that the one who quit peeping died?

    Not sure, the guy @ the feed store didn't know - he was just stepping in for someone. I'm hoping they are ideal236's but we will see.
