    Though i have had roosters help me out with raccoons by attacking them of course he dies and the raccoon runs off with him instead of my beloved hens but yea i'm getting rid of him. Now that i think of it i have a new coop now so i don't think raccoons can get in anymore thank you for your advise.

    My rooster Caligula has been causing problems since the start he is not friendly to the hens and i'm thinking of adding a new batch of chickens and one of the new chickens is a really nice bantam rooster and he is nice to them but tiny so i don't know if he would be able to protect all my hens.     I can tell she is still breathing but she looks weak her buthole is really red like not blood red but inflamed Che ate food and I'm can still feel the food in her crop

    The second time I did the tube thing it worked (I hadn't seen your message abut jot doing it a second time) and cookie after a couple of minutes stood up and walked for the first time in like 1and1/2 days so I think it worked.
