We grabbed our first bag of the Countryside Organics organic, soy-free feed from Sonora Farm Supply down in Sonora this past weekend, and our ladies love it. For anyone who's interested, they carry the whole line: starter, grower, layer, and scratch, and they're also the nicest people.- mtsmylie

Well, the time came for us to do something with our 12 17-week-old Barred Rock roos, so I took them down to SS Enterprises in Bowling Green, and was super impressed. Mute rooster?
We have 24 Plymouth Barred Rocks that we hatched via an incubator that are now 13 weeks old, and doing great free-ranging and sleeping in the barn with our year-old hens (their moms).
