Hi, I'm in England & the British weather isn't the most reliable, last month the temp was in its 30s & its now dropped to below the 20s, centigrade that is, & the rain of late has put everything on a stand still.
I bought some cube storage that can be built into any shape, size or height, I can add extra cubes & make more room for them, not you're typical brooder but it really works. My first time raising chicks & couple of mishaps, 3 in the brooder & 11in an incubator 😁
That's happened a lot over there, the everglades are full of boas that have be release by people who couldn't cater for their needs properly & instead of calling a rescue they've just been dumped, but they are migrating & quite fast, there was a man I saw that had been bitten by a green mamba...
I'm quite lucky in the uk we only have 2 species of snake & both are quite small, but it looked longer than a normal egg? & I watch some programmes where non native snakes have started to invade especially the python, people who bought them as pets & they didn't know what they were getting...

Hiya, been a while, so what's new, after my lil bug passed I only went & bought more eggs!! I currently have 11 eggs cooking, hopefully it will be a more successful hatch rate & they will survive, oh & can someone tell me how long they're on the chick crumb for pls?
You need some parrolets they don't get any bigger than a budgie & are pretty quiet, I have 2 & it's true what they say they have the attitude of a A. G parrot, my female reminds me more of a t rex tho!!
I have just bought a child's play pan for my little brood, they're growing so fast!! Sturdy, waterproof, washable, lots of room to run around & easy on the eye😁
