How many here have parrots?

You need some parrolets they don't get any bigger than a budgie & are pretty quiet, I have 2 & it's true what they say they have the attitude of a A. G parrot, my female reminds me more of a t rex tho!!

They sound nice. And I have heard nice things about them. I can manage a t rex

African Grey parrots have a great attitude, Dylan tells me what to do but mostly reasonable requests, not commands! When we are eating, we will hear from her room, "Want more!" but not too loud. I reward her for speaking when she wants something, instead of loud parrot calls, so most of her words are involving what she wants! Loud Parrot calls are ignored, as much as possible.

Dylan has a large cage out on the patio for nice days. The bowl is for baths, she likes to flap water everywhere when we go outside.

I don't reward loud noises or pay them any attention when they do instead I reward the chattering & some words that the blue one says. The green one is only a year old & the blue one is 6mths old

Peach Face lovebirds are beautiful and friendly. But, loud! I had one and could not keep it in the apartment where we lived. Dylan has never once made a sound as loud as that bird made every 10 minutes!
