    Hi from Iowa. I hatched these little cuties July 22nd. The lady I got the eggs from sold the eggs as call ducks but did not mention the type or color. The pictures she posted were all the white with black or brown spots (magpies)? I'm especially curious what kind the purplish or lavender...

    The poor chicks were stuck. This little cutie is the only survivor but appears to be very healthy and active. I'm trying to find a buddy for her, for now she's snuggling up with a fluffy piece of fleece.

    I'm using a little giant incubator. The temp has fluctuated often between 9 and 102. Is there a.way to tell if they are shrink wrapped?
