I can see that! I've heard scary things about zebras. Ever heard of the Creation Museum in cincinnati, OH? They have a zedonk and a zorse at their small petting zoo... and I think they have signs up warning about their unpredictable nature. They ARE gorgeous though. :-)
The ZORSE

Yay!! I'm so glad for you! ;-) My VERY FIRST broody hen (a hatchery dutch) has been sitting on six eggs... and they just started hatching this afternoon!! Four out of the six have hatched, and the last two have the first pip holes. ;-)
And i know people say that you are supposed to...
YAY!!!! She must have started setting before I realized it... out of six. 2 have hatched so far!!! they are TINY!!! Henny is so adorable. She sits there and clucks and chirrs at them - such a good mommy. :-)
Finally got around to loading the rest of the farm ones. :-) I kinda barged in on this thread... forgive me please! But I do love taking pictures!! :-)
Thank you! (I guess you're talking about the border collie?) He's my brothers... and is learning to work goats. He's very intelligent. ;-) I love it when they come visit me and bring the dog. :-)
Can i join this thread? :) i just wanted to congratulate you on the new chicks!! Man.... I wish my hubby would do that... I kinda dropped a broad hint the other day...
Me:"You know, it would be fun to do something like this - where the hatchery writes something on the inside of a surprise...
EDIT: SEE? Not working. I don't understand.
I keep trying to post more pictures, but they are not showing up, and are giving me an error message. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
One of my Buff Brahma bantam cockerels! He's my favorite... and he's so WIDE! I love how chunky he is. ;-)
And the girls...
Any other fellow virginians discover the wonders of Brahma Bantams? I LOVE THEM. ;-)
They are very pretty! Look kinda like the oegb red pyle... But i dont know anything about Colors, so don't bite my head off for making the conparison! :-P
Yay! My pullets are only 12 weeks... so I'd say it'll b next spring before I get any eggs from them. :-]
...Our Dorking Cockerel decided that following me looked fun. It's so theraputic (sp) to have a flock of chickens clucking around me and come running when I step out the door. *blissful sigh* and then to have my yellow tomcat crawl up on my shoulders to enjoy tje view... ahhhhh. wonderful. :-P
Lol!!! One clarification, it was an outside dog... not an inside dog! :-D it was pretty gross... even if it did work. I think there are better ways to teach a dog. Lol.
Thanks very much ki4got. :-) good stuff.
I'm not actually planning on doing it myself - I was just admiring all the different colors in cochins... and wondering what would happen if the colors were mixed.
:) random question that was not meant to cause friction - it was merely hypothetical...
