There shouldnt be any problems with drafts, i was worried i might not have enough ventilation in one coop but the others should be fine, being dry and no drafts. they all still eat well, but i have not wormed them. What is the best way to worm a chicken and can i still collect eggs?
So last year my chickens got sick. They started sneezing and around their eyes were swollen. you could also hear them having trouble breathing. I ended up losing a couple of birds and ended up getting them tested by the state. they came back clean and the sickness went away. I didnt add any...
I am starting to grow my flock pretty large and want to upgrade from my little giant incubator but i need some advice on what to get. I am a young farmer without deep pockets so im looking for a more reliable incubator for a reasonable price. Any information would be great!
I recently had two ducks, a runner and a mallard, start sitting on what i thought was a couple eggs. Yesterday they finally came out of their coop with 11 little ducklings. I have 2 other males and one other female that live together. Will the ducklings be alright with the rest of the ducks...

Keara,
I just stumbled onto this thread. I am from the Mass/VT/New York line and have been looking for black copper marans forever without any luck. Where are you located in Vermont?
heath_elisha,
What type of marans are you interested in getting? I have been looking for Black Copper Marans forever and have not been able to find any around here. I think egg swaps would be awesome to do.
