    Thanks! I did the night time thing when i put my Cornish X in there for the few weeks before butchering it worked out well. I think i may set them in a dog cage next to the run so they can see each other everyday this week.(bringing them in at night) and this weekend ill introduce them to the coop.

    I have a Questions. I have 3 EE's in my coop now that are roughly a year old and have 4 other hens/chicks i have been raising (2EE/2BR) that are roughly the same height that are 11 weeks old. When can I introduce them into the coop?

    I run sand in the Floor of the coop and my brother in law is a Hay/straw farmer and thats what they has always used in there coop. Ill see what happens when they start laying thanks for the Advice.

    Hey Bucks!!!! Quick question this is my first year with Chickens. I have 6 EE hens at about 20 weeks when do you guys usually start to winterize your coop? I live in Lorain county closer to the lake.

    Thanks they are Chinook hops that's from last year this year there is twice as many. We just brewed a Hefewiezen and it turned out really nice and is a good one to start with because they are ready to drink in about 8 days.Feel free to ask any questions im always down to help if I can.
