    Better to not get the chick wet, let it fluff up and dry off. The other chicks will pick at the exposed yolk if it's still wet. Also more likely to get an infection wet. Once it's dry it'll harden and eventually fall off.

    If they're vaccinated then she shouldn't be showing symptoms if she does have mareks. More likely if she's been sickly from hatch she has some kind of birth defect.
