help, I’ve bought 2 batches of mandarin duck eggs, and only 1 egg is fertile, it’s too late to get any more eggs, what do I do about this one duck that is going to hatch?!?!?!
Haha, thank you so much for responding, we will try cooking them for like 10 minutes a day, we have a very nice brinsea and it has a built in cool mode, unfortunately we have a very small area and can’t take care of many chickens, so I wouldn’t be able to preform an experiment, so hopefully this...
Me and my chicken partner are in a disagreement, he thinks that we have to let the chicken eggs cool everyday mimicking the mother hen leaving to get food and water, but I’ve never heard of anything like that for an incubator, besides for duck eggs. Please leave your opinion
Hahah, its been a couple of days since he has hatched, and boy is he imprinted in humans, everyone we leave the room it’s constant popping, I didn’t think one little chick could be so loud, we are going to drive an hour to get him a little buddy tomorrow so hopefully it works out
We can but the only place that sells bantam chicks during this time is an hour away, and it’s hard cause I have work for that time, but I think we’re going to get one tomorrow
They ended up all dying, what a bummer, we just invested in a better incubator and more eggs, id recommend canceling them and if you see movement than your good, and also try to keep your humidity levels around 40-50%, best of luck to you!
We have a super sucky incubator, and have had 40+ eggs die, but one little guy did hatch, we did get a new incubator and eggs, but what should we do with this one Lonely chick?

Yeah they were shipped, we wanted cool breeds like polish or silkies, and there are no breeders in my area, a lot of them seemed to have died at lockdown, I think it has to do with our super unstable incubator, we just ordered a brand new Brinsea, and some more eggs, so hopefully we will have...
Kireah, Onehappyrooster, and Sourland. Thank you so much for responding, we ended up candling them and found out that half of them died early on and the other half died sometime during lockdown, only one made it through the aircell than died, super disappointing, we had them in a crappy...
JaeG, thank you so much for replying, we candled them and found out that half of them died early on and the other half died sometime during lockdown, only one made it through the aircell than died, super disappointing, we had them in a crappy incubator anyway, we will just use the Brinsea...
