It’s been forever since I’ve been on here but great to see there are still soapers on here. My business is still going though I had to cut when I had my girls. And then most all my shows have been canceled from the virus.

    Soap Makers Help!

I have never had to deal with ash no matter what method I use, so I don't know if this cuts down on it or not. I think is mainly environmental, atleast in my experience. I get ash in maybe 2 or 3 batches a year that doesn't just go away with a very quick rub with a cloth, it is always end bars...

Hot Process soap blunder - help? ~with photos~!

See if you can find a dowl that is the same size as the can and use that to press the soap down. I also hear that sodium lactact(that does not look spelled right) can make for an easier pour. Can't wait to see the next ones!

Hot Process soap blunder - help? ~with photos~!

You did the right thing in putting it back in the crock. What happened was it dried out. When it starts to like that, add a little water to it. It's still going to be good soap, just not too pretty, lol. It might be crumbly where the soap didn't get packed in really tight. If you are really...

Hmmm, that is not something I know right off hand. I know I would not sell that batch at all. I would play it better safe than sorry and toss it.

    2012 Valentines Soap Swap!

We had a few drop out after the email had been sent so I think there were only 7 of us instead of 9 in the swap. The True Love scent is called lovespell from aroma haven. I sent everyone a different scrub but you tell me which one I sent I can tell what scent it is since I tend to rename them.
