Coop is actually 60 sq ft. I went into coturnix with nothing known about them. I just came home with a few day olds. I now sell and incubate weekly. I have time to learn bout them still :) I have incubation down.
That's coo so the males can't be rapists now? :lau my Coturnix sure is. I am moving them to a 5x10 A-frame coop once old enough. I ordered the 25 eggs, to arrive next week. I have 8 Coturnix. can they not live in the coop with them? and if all hatch, whats male to female ratio for all of them...
I only need a game bird hobby permit I believe. still reading. i will not order them if I need a huge permit thing. I just raise them in my backyard with my coturnix.

I wanted to make an ALL FARM ANIMALS thread. (Chickens, goats, horses, quail...etc.) You understand ;)
I have chickens, quail, dog, cat, hedgehog.. and a partridge in a pear tree.
Anyways... Feel free to ask questions, or tell us...
Opened all of them, All were developed but 2 that stopped growing it seems. They were all dead, except for one, but was missing a foot. tossed all. missing foot one died pretty soon after opened.
