Jetdog, I had hoped to be done by now. Winter is refusing to let go of its icy grip. Last weekend we got an inch of sleet/ice with 8" of snow on top of that. So between the weather and not feeling well with a bad head cold I didn't get to do much on it.

The siding is nailed so it would be a bear to get it off. I could just take the saw and cut 4" out of the top and trim it again. I may add a 2" board to the bottom and see how it works for them. It is 14" tall right now and I am sure they could fit without trouble if it was 12". Thanks for all...
I feel like I am on the home stretch now. The girls helped this weekend with staining while I was putting on the siding and building the nest box. We had beautiful weather this weekend but it looks like old man winter is returning tomorrow.

I made some progress on the coop this weekend. The weather was great. I should have it close to being done if I get another nice weekend.

Well winter made a return. We have a blanket of white stuff again so I didn't get to work on the coop. I did fire up the wood stove in the shop and built the brooder for chicks I am going to order them next week for pick up at the end of February.
