I have 4 - one year old hens for sale. I am no longer able to care for them and I am looking to place them in a home together. They are friendly and good layers! I am asking $40 for the 4 of them.
You can use the heated hose and it should work well for you...I would make sure to replace the faucet with a freeze free faucet...I used this set up for filling water in my grooming van years ago!
I have a pvc vertical pipe chicken waterer. I just purchased this aquarium heater to use inside my pipe to hopefully keep my water from freezing. This heater is completely submersible and will not burn out if it is out of water! Hope it works...

I have had both walk in and raised...I LOVE my raised coop!...I also have an enclosed, roofed run attached and I hang the feeder and waterer in there! I have the back side of the coop with two large doors that open up and all I have to do is pull all the litter into my wheel barrow and haul...
I LOVE my raised coop and HATE my walk in coop!...I do not like being in the coop shoveling all the litter up...It is so hard on my back and lungs (should wear a mask)!...I can clean my raised coop in a jiffy...Just scoot the wheelbarrow under the doors in the back and use the hoe to pull it all...
