Your welcome. I noticed the fiber content is higher than other feeds. It's a mini pellet, bigger than a crumble but smaller than the typical pellet. I purchased it yesterday for the first time. Anyone else use it?
I bought from Privitt Hatchery. They sell sexed Welsummers.
Based on their hatching schedule BSL, silver laced Wyandotte and Barred Rocks are hatched on Wednesday's.
They all have black legs.
I guess only time will tell if they are all BSL or not. Either way I don't care.
None of them have white spots on their heads. They all are girls. If I have a boy it will either be the extra mystery chick or the extra Welsummer.
I think the hatchery had too many extra black sex links that needed a home.
I thought the same thing, but most of my order was sex links.
Ordered Received
Red sex links 25 25
black sex links 6 16
welsummers 6 7
mystery chick 1

Feed store said they were golden sex links. They don't have single combs and lay a tiny light (really light) brown egg. The comb looks like a rose comb.
Question on the Safeguard. Tomorrow is the 10 day mark and need to give a repeat dose. The first time I used the liquid and gave with bread. I noticed the paste could be used instead by placing place a peas size in each beak. How do you know if they dose is enough (or too much) based on the size...
I purchased Corid and added to the water of the group with Cocci. I will keep mixing the Corid in the water for the next 5 days.
I used the Safeguard on this group because I didn't know how much they would drink since they were showing signs having problems.
When I cleaned off the dropping...
