That works for me. I just want to raise some pullets to sell as egg layers in the spring but didn't want to call them minorcas unless they were true. Not many people in my area even know what a minorca is. Thanks for your help.
Here is a better picture of her eye ball. lol This is an older pic but it still shows that her eyes are brown. They are even a shade or so darker than this because this was taken with a cell phone which isn't real true to color.

Your post was very hard to understand due to poor wording. I don't plan on showing these birds. Just selling them as egg layers. I know my hen is a minorca, but as you read in the beginning of my question, I wasn't sure about the roo.
Allow me to better explain my position:

You can call them Minorcas, but they are very poor quality ones. I would simply sell them as egg-layers. And give possible breeds. One of them being Minorca. The only similarity they have is the white earlobe and white legs on the male.

I need some rooster help here. When I got this boy I was told he was a Leghorn. Well while posting a pic of him I was quickly corrected and ended up with the suggestion that he was a Buff Minorca. Well while posting on this thread about what chicks would look like if you mix a black minorca...
My minorca hen is such a smart girl. The latch on my wyandotte pen somehow came open and all the birds in that pen got out and were all killed by my husbands dog last week. It was like a bomb had gone off. After accounting for all the birds in that pen I realized my minorca was missing in...
Wish you lived near me. My black minorca hen is a trouble maker. I'd give her to you. She is just such a sweet girl to me, thats why I keep her around.

Well my first minorca egg just hatched. It is a cross between my buff minorca roo and my black minorca hen. Not what I thought it would look like from previous posts from this thread. Here is a pic. It appears to be a light color w/ some buff mixed in there. I will know more as it...
Yea! Great to hear.
I have two minorca eggs in the bator that are due to hatch next week along w/ some Barred rock/Minorca, Easter Egger/Minorca. Cant wait to see what i get. So far they are all looking alive and well. Hope things go well.
Put my 30-some chicks out in their pen outside and they are doing well. I had separated my minorca roo from all my hens to give them a chance to grow their feathers back. His son is in there now and he is too much of a shy boy to try anything....except on my white EE who seems to be the ditzy...
