I figured out why the little blocks are coming out smaller because the directions are wrong to make half square tri's you have to cut 4 inch blocks instead of 3 7/8 because when you sew your seams to make the tri's you are taking up 1/2 in. instead of how they have it as 3/8's

Hi Kat I was out and about today to the dentists and getting new glasses and forgot to copy the pattern darn. Its funny because I was looking at it and the bandanna on the cat is a triangle so I added a knotted tie to add at the neck. Who knows maybe its in the pattern somewhere and I missed but...
When I put mine outside I would sit in the run and just watch them they are so darn funny and yes they do get stinker. I need to clean out my big coop but waiting till I get new litter I am going to put in sand heard it is much cheaper and easier to clean.
M, thats a good point on the rotary cutter, away from you. I forget all the details on using them I have been using them since 1990 or so. I never thought about thread making a difference but very interesting. And yes everything I make is going to be a heirloom, ha the kids wouldn't have room...
I got my fabric!!!! Finally. I went to a Amish friend who has a fabric shop in her back yard. It was fun we pulled out all the green fabrics and finally made a decision. She has some wonderful quilting fabrics way cheaper then Joanns and other quilt shops anywhere from $6.50 to $8.50 a yard. So...
