June 1st Quilt Block Exchange

It's time for the next BYC QUILT BLOCK SWAP!!! Sign up soon, as space is limited. I'm starting now to give us time to get the 16 quilters I would prefer to have for this exchange.

We each should make sixteen blocks to be determined. Look for the same pattern for all this time!!! (a lovley easy one that will work for all skill levels)

I am on BYC everyoften, and I will be available to answer questions, and all who send blocks will receive blocks from whomever else takes part. When you ship your blocks, PLEASE add a large SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) for easy block shipment. ALL BLOCKS are sent to me (yes, even the ones for you) so that I can be sure every pile of blocks sent out contains one from every single sender. Its confusing to keep track of many different piles, and who doesn't need one. I want no mistakes, so make and send them all at once. DOUBLE COUNT BLOCK NUMBERS BEFORE SENDING PLEASE.

This is our 5th quilt block exchange!!!

What about " summer stars" ? Just an idea ..... Hot colours and any star block and that way it could be a easy or difficult as people wanted too make it...... But I'm easy whatever.....

We thought we (Marty1876 and I) would make this swap a little different, I will post several block designs and we will vote on one design, The colors choiceswe need to vote for this swap will be "Greens" or "Greens and Whites" The total number of spaces are 16, and here are the links to the blocks, So we will need to vote for the color and block design.

I vote Hunter Star (the last one)

I'm all for the verdent greens and whites for grasses and sunshine

I really like the "hunter's star" and greens and whites would really set it off, so that is a second, keeping track.

Looks good to me. Are we going to do light and dark green stars on a white background or green and white stars on different green background?
This is me getting all excited and I have only just started the blocks or April chicken blocks!

I think the green stars with the white background would really make things pop, like Marty said whites for the sun and grasses, this is really going to be pretty, funny the greens are on sale at the fabric shop and I picked some up, went there looking for chicken fabric, can't believe we just don't have it, I have some to finish my blocks but wanted a variety, that was Hancock Fabrics, they usually have a fantastic selection, oh well, such is life.

So are we aiming for white background and shades of green (i.e. grass green, hunter, sage, primitive) for the 2 star parts?
