Chelsie, are those Sebbie babies? They're so cute, but some of them look darker and smaller...what are those ones? (How are your Mandarins doing btw?)

Meet the latest 2 Sebbie babies to hatch. They're in their own brooder for now- they made so much noise though, the older 2 (2 weeks old) were huddled in their brooder not making a peep. Afraid of the babies? Wow.
and there aren't anymore Goose eggs incubating now, so these may be the last...
me maybe? I have (2) 2 week olds who's sale is pending tomorrow payment. But I jsut loaded a pic of them on to the hatch a long thread and asked if they were whites or SBs...here's that pic- the buyer wants whites and a pair! I can't tell what color they'll be or what sex they are now. I have 2...
Meet Baby Gigi
Baby Georgie
and Baby Gaga
not planning to keep them, as a few people have asked to buy Sebbie babies from me...time will tell if they're bought or stay here though...
For now, we're enjoying their fluffy little bodies, soft little peeps, and sweet little nibbles! I love...
Yes, if you remember, our 3 girls were hatched the same day as Simon...so Scout and Simon are practically twins! Only they aren't related, so they almost had a baby on their bday...just off by a few days. :P
Thanks! I think Baby Gigi is from my girl Scout's egg, and her boyfriend is....Simon! Simon is a daddy now! she's small (b/c the egg was smaller) and such a cutie pie!
Pete! Good to see you here! Thanks! they are so cute and getting better at walking..I've got the vent plugs out and hoping they dry up more this am...maybe they can go into the brooder box later tonight or today. :P
My 3 are up and moving...new as of last night and the final 2 finished hatching sometime during the night...The littlest one is Gigi, and the last one is Georgie (and the 1st, largest is still Baby Gaga for now.) I can't wait to get them in the brooder and see them fluffed up! I Love baby...
I don't think so...as it turns so it can pip /zip around the eggshell...but if it takes so long and it seems weaker and quieter, then I have been known to help zip it and let it finish hatching itself...as long as the veins are dried up and the baby is strong enough to hatch on its own, it is...
WOW- that baby is dark! Wonder what color the goose is? None of the babies I've hatched have come out that dark yet, although I'd love it if one did! My other 2 are hatching now...and they look like the first one does...Probably whites...Baby Gaga, Gigi, and George(ie?) Pics tomorrow of mine...
my 3 did too! 1 of them hatched during the night, and the other 2 are still zipping and peeping up a storm...hope they break free soon! I can't wait to see what they look like! Show pics when your's are out, ok? I will too! What a fun time of year!
Lisa in NJ
I do have some for sale in the BST section...in fact I have a special of 5 right now for less than normal since a sale fell thru a few days ago. If I can tempt you ...haha.
I WISH! I'm in NJ and my daughter and I just both said how cold we are and how drafty our old house feels today...brrr.
Celtic Oaks is in Florida though! Lucky girl!
I used soft water last year with no problems. I just spritzed the part of the egg showing, as it sat on the towel cooling down. I didn't turn it over...just sprayed the top and sides. 1X/day too.
Good Luck!
