I have 9 chickens and most of them have bumble foot Zzz. I'm assuming its from the wood shavings and from jumping up and down the roost. So i worked on two chickens so far.. taking it slowly since I'm super fresh at this. My first chicken i worked on had a veryyyyyyy mild bumble foot and it...

Thanks for the replies! Kind of bummed lmao ive been wanting an olive egger thenl i noticed that beef always laid those dusty green eggs.. although they arent as vibrant as the OLIVE eggs.. i still think its barely almost kind of close enough even if beef isnt an olive egger haha. thanks again! =D
I have two easter eggers and they both lay different colored eggs of course. One lays a bright pastel blue egg and another lays a dusty green egg.
My phones camera isnt justifying their colors.. sorry =(
the left egg was laid by chico, and the right was from beef. Without flash

Today I noticed that the tips of my hens combs have a dark purple tinge on them. Their combs are still standing and still bright red. Although I worry about the purple tips... My hens are all eating and drinking..and are still very active lol. Is there something I should be worrying about...
I tohught it was unusual beacuse their first eggs had very hard shells, and few days ago one of my olderchcikens attacked my little chcikens eye..which got a little infected and started having tiny bit of foam on the corner.
alll of my chickens been laying for 2 months now, and never any eggs with soft shells. today i think two of my chickens laid soft shell eggs because there were two broken soft shell eggs, one was white and another that was tinted pastel green ish. is there something i should be worrying about...

yea, its just an eye infection since all my chickens including her are doing fine.. still has their appetite and energy D: but my poor chico(name of the chicken who got her eye pecked) =( hey eyelid is so damaged, but i will keep in mind about this IF something does happen. thank you =D
Will do! Theres an update though.. Ive been checking hey eve everyday since then, and it isnt foamy anymore =D her eye is healing from the attack, though its leaving some dirty gunk on some areas around her eye.
Ive noticed three of my older chickens have been picking on my youngest hen. They pecked the corner of her eye and around that her eyelid is now scabbed. Today morning i saw foam in the corner of her eye. The same eye she was pecked. I tried wiping/cleaning the foam away, but its kind of...
An update, although nobody cares. Embarrassed to say, but this failed miserably. It might have stopped him from trying to agressively rape the hens, but this did nothing to stop his crow. even though i really want to keep him because his character is just so silly.. sad to say he has to go down.
hello! i personally have not tried the cable tie wrap. i live in a city where chickens are allowed, but roos arent. My silkie roo started crowing a few days ago...and today at 5 am in the morning he crowed for an hour straight. started from a mediocre crow, and after a few more tries...it...
if my neighbors werent so sensitive to noises.. i wouldnt have written this review =\ so yes to me they are awesome chickens, but the neighbors ruin it for me.
