    ... I just thought you guys were ignoring me (lol). Alaskan, there was a woman who goes by Mrs. AK-Bird-Brain who was raising SC SGD's in Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. I think she got out of keeping chickens due to work schedule/travel... But still might be an interesting resource...

    Well said dalalune. We may not yet be seeing the full benefit of membership yet, but I am very appreciative of Jim Parker's efforts on behalf of the breed, and I will continue to pay my dues willingly, encourage others to join, and look forward to watching it grow and flourish.

    Congrats I got reds from him last year. All arrived in good shape. I have his SGD eggs in the bator right now. Hoping I get something to hatch in spite of the PO. They've been a little rough on everyone the last few weeks from the posts I'm seeing.
