Once it gets here next week I'll post photos of the work in progress next weekend Boy are they gonna be surprised when they get a coop that they all can sleep in and not have to get divided up between the coops.
I have some vents from an old coop we built a few years ago that I was going to reuse since husband has heart problems now we can not build our own so will make this work :) and just didn't want to buy another coop from TS @ $400 a pop and just for them to last 3 years this one has a life span...

Well I broke down and ordered a shed to replace the chicken coops we have. One of our coops we have had for 4 years from TS has finally seen better days. The roof is failing and the egg boxes are falling apart. so in steed of buying a new coop thought I'd just get a shed and convert it to a...

the littles survived the night :p though they were the 1st ones out of the door this morning when I let them all out of the coop they made a mad dash to get back to their own coop. The trick will be tonight.... where will they go.....hmmmmm back to their coop or will they be brave and try it...

Strange wet stuff falling here too :ya and just in time we had our trees trimmed in our back yard lol no more hiding places  maybe will help to keep the squirrels and rabbits out of the back yard.
The littles are doing great, they are out with the Big Girls in the afternoon and no one is chasing them and only a few pecks now and then. Going to get some all flock tomorrow to get ready to keep them all together but I like to feed the littles by them self to make sure they get the starter...
While the big girls were out running around the back yard I let the littles out to explore the chicken run. .they mainly stayed by their coop but they are checking things out they run out and run right back in
