    lol i would think the chickens want to eat the raccoon! thus far my girls haven't had any of those encounters but they will walk right up to and try to peck anything that comes into their yard... crows, jays, neighborhood cats, squirrels... my belt... repeatedly... apparently the omnivore inside...

    there is full feathering on 2 of 4 toes... with the 3rd toe looking like there will be feathering on it on most of them... looks like the feathering is just coming in slower / smaller.. Didn't see a whole lot of feather activity on the 4th toe. but i just ran out to look at them as they are...

    Ok so in my first hatch i set 13 and hatched 5. of those 5 4 were roos!!!! Now i'm a little paranoid. I presently have 23 chicks (my second hatch went much better than my first) but again i fear that most of them are roos! can anyone help me out? They are 8 weeks old. i know that i have 1 female...
