Just found my favorite broiler chicken dead - one leg under, one leg stretched out - heart attack?

Hi cocoloco I would check out the farm/owner first. You don't want ANY diseases brought to your new flock! If you do decide to add some hens make SURE to quarantine them for several weeks. Watch they're behavior and look for any health issues, then you can start slowly integrating them into...

    pecking

I just brought home 3 new chicks (maybe 2-3day olds) one of them is really being aggressive pecking/biting the other 2 in the face and eye area. What's up with that? I had 6 newbies in the same pen I now have 3 in. What do I need to do to correct this?

Yes, I cut out all treats during the treatment when I read they weren't to have any. I have given them watermelon. How much yogurt should I be giving them? I might be over doing it. Not familiar with probiotic powder???

    Help, Coccidiosis

If you take a sample to your vet they shouldn't charge a lot if anything. I'm going to finish up then start the vitamin reg. etc and see how it goes. Everyone has started laying again and look good with the exception of the weight loss and runny stool. If I still have the signs I will take a...
