Hi everyone! I have a duckling whose tail is crooked. I didn't notice any of this til his feathers started coming in, but his rear end is growing to one side! It seems to be his whole tail end, not just the feathers. Does anyone know what could be causing this? And is there anything I can do to... -

My Annabelle turned out to be a drake! What do I name him?!
It took us a while but finally we came to the conclusion that he's a Handsome. When he didn't have a name I was just referring to him as Handsome and it stuck. And boy does it fit!! -
School ducklings
I'm not an expert but usually we start feeding our ducklings twenty four hours after they hatch. I've never dealt with something like this though. Hopefully someone else will have experience with this. Good luck! Sending prayers for the little guy. -
Duckling squished by Mama duck should I move the other one?
I just had my runner do the same thing. She killed one and stomped two more. We collected the ducklings and moved them inside to a brooder. Removing them is probably your safest bet! Some mama's just aren't careful. -

A week ago my fawn and white runners hatched out a duckling that I lovingly called Annabelle. We vent sexed the babies today and learned that she was a 'he'. He's from Holderread lines and is absolutely beautiful and sweet. Any name ideas? -
