Thank you. This pretty much sound like her.
The other day there was something reddish in her poop (not sure if it was blood or not) But I haven't seen it sense then.
If she isn't eating though, how will I give her that feed?
I've posted a few thing on here about my quail. First I thought she was egg bound (she might be, not sure still) and then I thought she had bumble foot cause it looks like the top of her foot is swelled on her one leg
She is getting soo bad. I need more advice ASAP.
Her symtoms:
-She can not...
My quails are in a cage with a solid floor.
I put fine wood chips on the bottom and then I also lay a towel in the corner and line their bed in towels.
She has a little cut on her foot (not deep at all),
I'm not sure if thats what cause the bumble foot or not but I was thinking, maybe the...
I'm not really sure if she is egg bound.
I found out that she was limping when I took her out of her cage. And the pad on her one foot is swollen and red, also hot to the touch.
I might have mistaken this for being egg bound cause she's not getting around, and she's laying down a lot.
She...
Wellll, Now I took her out of her cage and put her on the floor, she's limping.
the pad on the bottom of her foot looks swelled.
could I have mistaken that for egg bound, since she's laying around all the time and stuff?
Or could being egg bound affect her and make her limp on one leg?

Okay, at least I know thats fine now. I just got worried because she started acting wierd right after that, and she's never laid one like that before.
No she hasn't. The last egg she laid was brown (which was unusual for her) like 3 days ago.
Instead of warm water would a heating pad work the same? or is it better to use the water?
I posted about her earlier, everyone was telling me she is probably egg bound.
I can feel an egg in her but its kinda far up, under her bone a little.
-She just sits around all day, fluffed up.
-eats and drinks a little.
-acts like she cant get up on stuff
-and doesn't want to use her...

I checked again, and it does kinda feel hard like on her belly, kinda under her bone. Is that where it would be? I just feel like a little bit of it, like the tip of an egg I think, but I could be wrong.
So if this is the case, what do I do?
She usually laid eggs everyday, but it took her like two days or so to lay that brown one and she hasn't laid any since.
Doesn't seem to have labored breathing. & I haven't checked her vent.
She has also seems like she has a hard time getting up on stuff.
Like, I have a little bed in her...
...but she seemed like she was sick that day and she still is acting weird.
Anyone know what it could be or anything I could do to help
ALSO*** I left their cage outside in 65 (maybe a little warmer) weather. (she's inside right now) Could that have done it? does the cold really affect them...
