Hubby and I have our semi-annual dental appointments today. It's sunny and bright right now, but is supposed to cloud up and more rain is on its way later.

I really need to get the last of the finished compost dug out and taken up greenhouse so that I can make next year's potting soil. But the dang yellow jackets are buzzing around it! I don't want to dig that stuff up wearing my bee suit so that I don't get stung. The suit is too warm to do that...

Sunny today. I'll be planting my garlic and multiplier onions today. It's nice that the ground got a good soaking yesterday, and there is some more rain predicted in the next 2-3 days. Perfect time to plant these things and let them establish roots before the ground freezes.

I have an egg skelter somewhat like the one on the right. The bottom is wider than the top, which helps with stability. It still feels tippy to me, and I've almost knocked it over a couple times.
The eggs don't really roll down, since they're not spherical. I still use it to store eggs anyway...
