so far so good, no more dead chickies :*( we are doing a complete coop clean out today and i will put lots of DE down, but i think at the point i was it was bad and the Sevin would have worked the best. I am just so sorry that i lost 3 of my girls before realizing this.
Ok so i covered up, had gloves and a mask on, and we dusted the HECK out of my girls, i put some in the coop too, and on the roost boards to help. This weekend we are going to do a complete clean of the coop , treat with it again in the bedding it self and put all new bedding in.

I am all itchy just talking about this but I just found another chicken of mine dead !!!!!!!! They have bare bottoms, and it is starting to go up the side of the tails, one looks like it possibly has lice on the base root of her feathers on the rear, as far as the others i was not seeing...
I had 14 chickens, over the last month we lost two, one had a gaping wound on her back end (i posted a while back about Big Mama she recovered) I believe it was from missing feathers and either she was picking at it and then the others probably joined in and she succumed to death. I am mad...

well i took her out yesterday and looked at the wound and it is completely scabbed over and almost gone, still missing feathers, so this week at some point i am going to start taking her out either to the coop, but have her in a cage, to spend some time out there in the cold or put her in a cage...
well it has been warm in my house, i could put her in the wash room it is chilllier in there, and then mayve after a few days i can put her in the garage, it is not heated and cold in there so that would help her get acclimated.
I have not figured out what it is, we havent gotten any traps yet...
