    How old? Then one on the bottom looks like it has slate colored legs so some sort of Easter Egger. It looks like a pullet though.

    Thank you. My vet will not treat chickens. It doesn't really look like canker. The swollen cheeks are filled with hard puss. There are black scabs that pull out cheese looking stuff. There is more in the holes left behind. Any ideas? Is she just infected?
