Definitely a hen, judging by the gray color she is also carrying a white gene as well. All birds birthdays are on Jan 1, so, yes, she is a two year old even though she is not 24 months old yet. -

If it is a sinus infection give 1.5ml injection of Tylan 200 just under the skin for three to five days. Usually there is swelling under the eyes so it may be somethin else, like somethin really bad like MG. -

Does the eye look like this? This bird had pseudomonas; the treatment is with zactran, gamithromycin. If there is swelling it could be a sinus infection. Either can be treated with zactran or tylan 200 if just a sinus infection. Your vet can supply you with pre-loaded syringes of zactran... -

Being the middle of winter they will most likely be fine especially for just a few days. You really don't want him out in this blistering cold and freezing rain, so it is well worth the limited risk. -

Peafowl Band Sizes and Recommendations
Size 22 for peahens and 24 for peacocks. If you get the aluminum butt end bands, they can come open and fall off if the bird gets a talon inside the band. but you can clamp them by hand. The harder metal bands will have to use a pair of channel-lock pliers to close them. -

Pea eggs are far too fragile to ship that far. Even going a few states through the PO is a gamble, I expect that if only 10% survive to hatch that is a win, going through US quarantine which adds even more time is sure to ruin the chances of hatching.
