    Winterizing my coop

    I need some help winterizing my coop. It is 6' x 7' wide and 6' high sloping to 5' for my 3 chickens. It has solid walls on the back 4' and wire front. I have stapled plastic over the wire, except for the door. The chickens are already trying to rip off the plastic so need some help there...

    I have two 9 week old wyandottes that I am pretty certain are girls, but I am new to this so take a look and offer your opinion. Both look the same although this one is a bit bigger. Combs just starting to appear, nobody trying to crow yet. What do you think? /img]

    I was composting eggshells from breakfast when my chicken ran over and grabbed a beak full and poceeded to gobble it down in a matter of seconds. Is this good for her? Will it make her start eating her own eggs?
