    Its day 19 and one of my eggs has pipped halfway down the egg towards the pointy end (but not in the pointy end if that makes sense). This is what happened to my very first chick in my first hatch and it died

    I am stressing about air cells - I have such a variation - some I am worried are going to lose too much moisture, but the others don't seem to have lost enough. Is it because of the different egg shapes? The longer, pointier shaped eggs seem to have smaller aircells, where the rounder ones...

    Rcom 20

    I have borrowed an RCOM 20 - its just the standard model, and does not have any pre-set settings on it. Lady I borrowed it from has only ever done duck eggs so had no idea on settings for chickens.... I did a bit of research and found a video clip by the supplier that said to set it at 37.5c...
