    A question about broody hens....?

    If I keep taking all the eggs I collect and put them in the "favorite" egg box is it likely that one of the girls will go broody and sit on them?, or should I just leave them alone and start adding eggs after she goes broody?

    How many chickens would be comfortable in my coop?

    I have a 7x4 coop that is six feet high and a run that is 21x5' including the space under the coop. I have a 35x50 fenced in yard that they get to roam around in during the day. How many chickens would be comfortable?

    I picked these young ladies up today! The guy didn't know what kind they were, so I came to the experts. These are my first attempt at raising chickens. I think the one is the back could be a Plymouth Rock, but not totally sure. Any help is appreciated.
