I have been feeding my hens a variety of foods but have never figured how to make mash. Do you feed it moistened with water? How wet? That is how I have done it to make a soft crumbley texture but they don't eat it.
Anyone know if a sonic bark deterrent would work for chickens when they start their loud rejoicing at their productivity? I worry about my neighbors complaining here intown.
I have been using a water bowl on an elevated surface but my chickens need a hanging waterer. I don't want to use plastic (we get very HOT here) and the metal ones are kinda spendy. Anyone have any good ideas before I go out and fork out the bucks for a galvanized watere for 5 chickens?
