    Eggs hatched early

    I had 30 eggs in incubator 1 hatched day 19, 6 hatched day 20 and day 21 5 fully delveloped but dead and the rest not even fertile! I'm feeling disappointed but happy with at least haveing 6 babies doing great! I'm thinking my humidity was too high during hatch?

    How long should I wait to get new birds after disease..How long does it hang around after chickens are gone? I have bleached everything and its been a good 4 mths. I had a respiratory disease wipe my flock out and now I am ready to start over.

    Rosemary and mites

    So I was at a farm field trip and the gal was talking about rubbing rosemary in your hands and then rubbing your cat or dog to get rid of fleas.. Just wondering if this is true with chickens and mites.. Although never even thought about maybe rosemary is poisonous to chickens! Thank you!
