    2 week old chick breathing hard

    Not sure why but I have 1 out of 16 chicks that is breathing hard since this morning.. I havent changed anything added or taken away havent switched food, the bedding is changed every day fresh dirt to scratch in fresh clean water usually twice a day.     New feed = diareahha ??

    I switched my flocks feed.. now they seem to have loose poop.. they free range everyday but I still feel really bad should I switch them back or will they adjust to it?? its been 4 days. not everyone has the runs its just looking a little more watery than usual & more stinky.. any suggestions...

    dust bathing and bugs

    is d.e. good to put down in the coop & run to helpkeep the bugs down? last yr i bought a small can of white powder put it down in the coop the run and even dusted the chivkens with it, ive addd more chickens this yr so instead of the small can i got a big sack of d.e. will tjis be as good??

    got some new babies

    So went to TSC. today for dog food & came home with 6 assorted bantams.. There was 1 was that getting picked on and trampled i felt bad so wanted to save him well couldn't just get 1 had to get 6.. whatever i don't mind so now we have 5 the little guy didn't make it :( so i really don't know...
