    Ringneck Dove lays tiny egg

I have a new pair of Ringneck Doves that have been together for a week. The pair have been mating and today I found a tiny egg on the bottom of the cage. I did notice that the female was straining while on the nest. I do not know the age of the pair. Could she be too old, or young to lay? Any...

    Newly Hatched Serama Chicks

I just hatched 5 out of 6 shipped Serama Eggs. Pretty good odds especially when you consider a cheap incubator and hand turning eggs :) They are small enough that all 5 fit into my hand!

    Lonely Chick

Well folks so far out of one dozen Sebright eggs, I only had one hatch. You know that chicks hate to be alone. As luck would have it, she has accepted a stuffed AFLAC duck as her mother. Thank God, as you know how they complain if they feel alone!

    Serama First Eggs

Rhonda, at 6 months is sitting on her first eggs. She likes the Pyrex Dish. I tried a small little house for her, but apparently the Pirex is what she wants. If she only knew how many nice roasted chickens I had on that dish. LOL
