O.K. this is the second one of these Marans I've hatched out. I now have a third. I thought they were Wheaten Marans,but now I'am not quite so sure. What's your thoughts?

I was wondering how many with Call Ducks keep theirs penned,let them free range,or clip their wings? I know they can fly well,but will they stay around if they know where their food is?
I have a young Call duck that is swollen between the lower part of the eye,and it's bill. I suspect it's an Sinus Infection. Is there any treatment for this? Can anyone help please?

I have 3 White Non-Bearded Silkie hens that need homes. 2 are just starting to lay. The 1 yr. old is an excellent brooder. She'll hatch any birds eggs,and is a good Mom. Make me an offer.
I know the Moma hens were Red Stars,but have no idea what the Father could be. Cochin? I have no idea. A friend of my SIL gave her 5 eggs.She thought I should hatch them,and of corse I did! lol It's feathered legged,and 4 toed. The one on the left![/img]

Beautiful Banty Roo He's black with a green color sheen to his feathers,with copper color hackles,and a Buttercup kone. He's young,hatched this past Spring.
