    For the first time in 8 years I have NO poultry

    It feels kind of weird not having to work my tail off in the 100 heat, but at the same time it's really nice. I started with 3 roosters to control ticks back 2002 and last summer I had over 300 chickens, turkeys, guineas, and peafowl.

    I think I want to raise quail, tell me what I need to know first.

    I've got a 10x30 pen. I have never raised quail before but have had every other kind of bird imaginable. I am wanting to raise to sell for meat and to people wanting quail to train dogs with. I think I want bobwhite's so tell me the pros and cons before I get into this little adventure.

    Does anybody have any experience with those prescription drug cards?

    THe ones that you see advertised on TV for so much a month. My husbands drug card through works sucks and the doctor has put me on 2 prescriptions that are going to cost us $500 out of pocket per month. THey do not comein generic so that is not an option. Pros and cons, worth it, etc.
