    Sickly sussex

    I have a speckled sussex 15 weeks old who is very lethargic, and also seems to have a crustiness around her eyes, so they appear half open at times. When I take her out of the coop, she wants to sit in my lap and sleep, or will just nod off standing up. Any ideas or remedies would be welcome!

    Feed store chicks

    In the spring I plan to start raising a small flock ( 6 or so) of chicks, and will probably look to a Tractor supply or feed store for so small an amount. I am curious as to what types of chicks these places usually carry. Any chance they would have buff orpingtons?
