    Naughty chickens!

    My girls have discovered my tomato plants and have decided they are their personal snack bar. I had a huge tomato almost ready to pick and they ate half of it. They've eaten several so far, green and almost ripe.

    How expensive are chickens on a month to month basis?

    Not the birds themselves, but feeding them, etc? The kids and I are trying to convince my husband we NEEEEED chickens and he is wondering about the monthly expense. I'm certain they won't actually cost that much, but he always takes the worst case scenario outlook.
