We brought these ducks home yesterday to add to the ones we have already and they don't look like the pictures I'm seeing online of the breed he said they are. Any ideas?
Supposedly they're a male (the one in front with the most light grey coloring, though I don't see a drake feather) and...
How long a laying strike is normal after a move? We got 3 new ducks on Saturday (a 1 year old blue swede/ancona mix and 2 1 1/2 year old buffs) and she said all 3 have been laying. Sunday we had 1 green and 1 white egg, Monday we had 1 green and 1 white, Tuesday we had 1 green, and today 1...
We're talking about getting a puppy and have always loved those breeds as good family dogs, but I'm kind of hesitant because of their hunting/retrieving nature... anyone have one of these and have experiences good or bad they could share? I know all breeds of dogs will likely be interested in...

I got two of them to put a few feet from eachother on the coop door - will that be enough to...
We have eight 6-week old khaki campbells and we're getting two 1 1/2 year old buffs and a 1 year old blue swede/ancona mix this weekend. Can I house them together or should I keep them separate until the khakis are older?
Thanks!
At what age can you tell the sex from their coloring? Mine are about 5 weeks old and their heads are starting to get darker - when will they be done getting their feathers in?
They're 2 week old khaki campbells and all 8 of them have the same really shaggy tail feathers now. Is that normal as they grow or should I be concerned about picking?
Our khaki campbells are 2 weeks old and they're terrified of us. Whenever we walk toward their brooder they run to the other side and cram into the farthest corner from us.
Any tips to help them get used to us? :/
Where is the happy medium with this for a duck coup?
We live where there are cold winters, but I want to make sure the coup still has the ventilation it needs... How do you balance the two?
We're supposed to have 8 khaki campbell ducklings, but I'm wondering about one of them if it might be something else - it's bigger than the rest of them and lighter in color.
Thoughts?

They're about a week old
We have khaki campbells and at about 1 week old they all pretty much look alike except for size relative to the others - is there a way to mark them or a trick to distinguishing who is who or do you just wait til they're older and stick with calling them all "that one" for now? :)
Our ducklings are about a week old (khaki campbells) and we're talking about adding some chicks in to raise for meat - can we put the chicks in the brooder with the ducklings at this point, or would the ducklings hurt them because of their size difference?
Thanks!
