Yesterday while out in the yard our we noticed our labrador had a mouthful of one of our 2 1/2 month old chicks in its mouth. My husband got her to release it, I brought her inside so I could make sure she doesn't get trampled but when I did some inspecting, I noticed her left wing isn't...
we have a coop that is 3 ft. off the ground and are wondering if we need a ramp leading into it or if our chickens will fly up when we begin to let them out (new chickens, crested polish)
My husband and I just bought 3 crested polish chickens 2 hens and a roo. We've done a lot of research but the only question we can't find an answer to is how long do we have to keep them in their new coop before we can let them out and them stay home. Our backyard is fenced but they can fly, advice?
