I have one chicken that starting coughing a few days ago, its not bad but Iam just not sure what it is. I have 16 chickens in this coop and she is the only one making the coughing sound. I can look into anabiotic but don't want others to have it if they don't need it. I also have another...

Over this past year (first year having chickens) I have had many unexpected events happen and hopefully will have a better year this coming. It gets in the 90 from June to August and feel that my birds along with myself struggled with it.

I have lose three of my chickens in the last four months.
I have no idea why.they have a great coop very nice run
I feed them good food and always have clean water,plus veggies and scratch.

I noticed the other day one of my eleven chickens was having a problem with her comb it seamed smaller. Today when I went out I noticed that her waddles are the size of a pea??

I have been leaning and enjoying my chickens since July of last year! Have just moved them to there new coop with a very nice run. I feed them the crumble from feed store which they always have along with lots of water.
I try to save things from my kitchen as I cook like veggies to gave to them...
Been working on my new coop for about a month now during the weekends. Dug the footing one weekend then framing the next then siding now working on roof. We had company today that came over and said the concrete flooring was not good for chickens. NOW I'm worried.

Just sitting with my chickens giving them a treat and one pooped and pretty sure I saw a worm?? It was gone before I could check it out. Now I am looking into what my next move should be,medicine or natural ????

When do you know when your chickens are going to start laying?? Is there a sign?? I have a two Barred Rock and I think they are close to being 20 to 24 week old??

There poop seems a little wet should I be giving them a supplement ???
We had a unexpected rain yesterday and I had just filled my feeders so my chickens food got all wet. I replaced the food,but was not sure if chicken could eat wet food. Two of my chickens have died on me just want them to stay healthy.
